Early Bird Alert!
Early birds catch the worm on MONDAY, when an ambitious Capricorn Moon teams up with action-oriented Mars and the bold Sun, infusing the morning with drive and confidence. With the Moon waxing in strength, this is the prime window to launch new endeavors, promote big ideas or initiate key projects. Just move quickly— this high-powered momentum will only be actionable until 10:52a, when the Moon shorts out and goes Void for a couple of hours. (Read all about the dos and don’ts of the Void Moon here.) Hit pause on signing contracts or starting major initiatives, until 1:14p, when the Moon shifts into Aquarius and links up with heavy-hitters Neptune, Pluto, and Uranus. To top off all this cosmic fortune, a stellar aspect between Mercury and Jupiter will be creating a public relations bonanza. It’s an open invitation to toot your own horn, network and pursue new prospects, as your charm and your message will carry extra clout.
The Fall Equinox
TUESDAY’s Aquarius Moon ushers in the Fall Equinox, when the Sun enters Libra shifting the collective mindset toward connection and collaboration. Love often flourishes under the romantic Libra Sun, intensifying our desire to pair up over the coming weeks and opening the door to fresh alliances. So expect to find plenty of opportunities to form new partnerships. While the Aquarius Moon takes a coolly intellectual approach, its communal energy does create the ideal backdrop today for networking and social gatherings. To that end, a grounding aspect from purposeful Saturn is strongly encouraging you to mix business with pleasure. This is a terrific day to reach out to new prospects, so invite a potential client to lunch, pop into a meet-and-greet and pitch your fresh ideas.
Make your power moves on Tuesday, because the Moon will be Void nearly the entire day on WEDNESDAY. The rule of thumb for an extensive Void is: if you don’t absolutely have to take an important meeting or make a major decision, don’t. That’s because anything done or begun under a Void Moon will not pan out the way you hoped, if at all. Even your best efforts will tend to stall out or take unexpected detours. Still, this is a lot of downtime, which is why you’ll want to allocate it toward dispatching with all those boring-but-necessary chores you keep putting off. This way, you won’t be stuck with them on a day when you have an opportunity to shine. Remember Void Moons aren’t necessarily “bad,” they’re just unpredictable. The offbeat energy they create makes them excellent for brainstorming and experimentation.
Dream On!
Although the Moon will be drifting in soulful Pisces on THURSDAY, the day gets off to a shaky start, thanks to an electrically charged zap from quirky Uranus, threatening to disrupt your schedule and toss your carefully made plans out the window. But don't panic—Pisces heightens your intuition, which should help you dodge any incoming drama. Plus, you’ll have savvy Venus on your side. This conflict-averse orb is adept at deescalating tense situations and will hand you all the tact, guile and diplomacy needed to artfully defuse any trouble even before it starts. Once the cosmic dust settles, you’ll be free to blend Piscean imagination with Uranian ingenuity and Venusian creativity to forge ahead with one of your most ingenious schemes. Come evening, you’ll be free to explore the romantic possibilities that emerge from the close proximity between this blissed out Moon and amorous Venus, because Thursday is the best date night this week!
Can you have too much magical, mystical influence in one day? You’re about to find out, on FRIDAY. Not only does the day start off with the vagaries of the Pisces Moon casting an ethereal spell, but the Sun has drifted into Neptune’s hazy sphere, doubling down on the woo-woo and imbuing us all with a dreamy (out-to-lunch?) quality. Meanings and motives are seldom clear under such a nebulous fog, which can become a breeding ground for confusion and miscommunication. Suffice to say, this is not the day to untangle a complicated situation or figure out what went wrong with your deal/project/relationship. What can you do? Well, because Pisces is arguably the most artistic sign in the Zodiac, your inspiration and creativity are sure to soar, so this would be an excellent day to manifest a masterpiece. Channel your inner Picasso, Mozart or Hemingway and have at it!
WEEKEND FORECAST
At 6:23a on SATURDAY, the Moon dashes into Aries and gets juiced by a high-voltage charge from resourceful Pluto, artsy Neptune and ingenious Uranus, making for a very dynamic day. This cosmic electricity will set your brain ablaze with brilliance and an irresistible "gotta be startin’ something" spark. As the energy builds toward the Full Moon, you'll be feeling audacious, motivated and ready to conquer the world before breakfast. (Read more about the Full Moon below.)
The playful Aries Moon hangs around all day SUNDAY, but has to negotiate the divergent demands of both workaholic Saturn and party-animal Jupiter. The good news is you can split the difference. Take advantage of Saturn's discipline to breeze through any nagging chores and prep for the week ahead in the morning. Once your to-do list is wiped clean, you can kick up your heels and put on your party hat. Because a rollicking Jupiter will arrive on the scene by late afternoon, making Sunday evening the best party night this week!
Full Moon in Aries: Shine On!
Every Full Moon is a time of volatility and emotional extremes when passions run high. And SATURDAY’s, in hot-blooded Aries, will be especially fervent. Whenever the Moon and Sun are opposed, in this case, me-first Aries vs. we-first Libra, we’re tasked with striking a balance between our partner’s needs and our own. A lofty goal at any time, but thankfully this lunation will be fully backed by a powerhouse lineup that includes change-agent Pluto, a blissed out Neptune and plenty of excitement and surprise from Uranus.
This celestial team shines a rare cosmic spotlight into your relationships, offering sudden flashes of insight that can break up any lingering stalemates. Wield Aries’s daring to voice grievances and employ Libra’s diplomacy to propose compromises. It may be messy, but whatever inconvenient truths get revealed could help correct any disparities in your relationship. On the upside, that would be the release of any attitude or behavior that prevents you from achieving greater intimacy in your life. On the downside, it could be the unleashing of long pent-up anger and resentments. One caution: since the days surrounding a Full Moon tend to be volatile, and the Aries Moon makes us exceedingly impulsive, wait a day or two before making any life-altering decisions, like say, eloping or splitting up.
