Prime-Time Void Moon
MONDAY gets off to a non-start with a Void Moon that lasts until evening. Turn on your cruise control, stick with routine tasks and don’t waste time trying to start anything new, because nothing will come of it. That’s why you don’t want to schedule that job interview, client pitch or first date, during one of these tricky times, because it won’t pan out the way you hope—if at all. Instead, use this time to play catch up and get rid of that backlog of work that’s been holding you up. (Read all about the dos and don'ts of the Void Moon here.) Things intensify, at 5:42p, when the Moon moves into Taurus and has a tense standoff with turbulent Pluto. That calculating orb will be stoking suspicions, fueling rivalries and inciting a stand-your-ground obstinacy—in some. You, however, will tune into Taurus’s higher vibration to stay centered and calm and evade pointless power struggles altogether. I’m sure of it!

New Moon in Taurus: Sow Well
New Moons are the best time each month to sow seeds for something fresh to materialize in your life. And TUESDAY’s, in verdant Taurus, is ideal for planting the ambitious notions you devised under the Aries New Moon. So what will you sow? Because this New Moon benefits from an idyllic union between Venus and Jupiter, there will be especially auspicious vibes around love and money. That makes these next two weeks a fertile time to manifest more of the things you desire and aspire to into your life, but you’ll want to be selective. You’ll be supported in that effort by the Taurus Moon and a prudent Saturn, both of which value quality over quantity. So whether you’re looking for romance, abundance or both, remember that seeds planted at this time will have tremendous potential for growth and longevity, so choose wisely!

A Bolt from the Bull
That positive New Moon energy will be in full force on WEDNESDAY, so make the most of it. Sometimes, when the Moon is in this bullish sign, we succumb to the Taurus tendency to procrastinate. But that’s less likely to happen today, thanks to a powerful jolt from Uranus prodding the bullish Moon into action. And with Neptune lending insight and inspiration and Jupiter daring you to take chances, this galvanizing zap will go a long way toward helping you produce something truly remarkable. But speaking of something remarkable, after a brief Void period (5:55p–7:20p), the Moon moves into astute Gemini and connects with a powerfully incisive Pluto, making Wednesday evening ideal for an intimate tete-a-tete. Because you’ll be better able to articulate your deepest feelings, you could have a real breakthrough in a relationship.

Swing for the Fences
THURSDAY’s spirited and clever Gemini Moon will be invigorated by a gutsy and ambitious Mars, giving you the confidence to swing for the fences. With the Moon waxing in strength and Mercury picking up speed, you’ll want to exploit this confluence of brains and pluck to raise your profile and advance your goals. For most of the day, this dynamic will be operating free from any undue cosmic static.  But by early evening, you may face headwinds from an obstructionist Saturn, which could throw up roadblocks and delays. If at all possible, try to wrap up your day on the early side, so Saturn has less time and energy to impede your progress.
On FRIDAY, the brainy Gemini Moon links up with clever Mercury, to create a surge of brilliance and vivacity that will inspire you to conjure novel concepts and also to expand your network, by making valuable new contacts. You’ll want to front-load this day too, because by late afternoon a nebulous Neptune will start throwing shade, clouding communications and causing confusion. You’ll find it harder to get your meaning across and the info you need to make decisions or complete a task may be inaccurate or unavailable. Look at the bright side. That gives you the perfect excuse to knock off early and get a jump on the weekend.

WEEKEND FORECAST
There’s a cranky alert in effect for SATURDAY, thanks to an antagonistic Mars provoking the thin-skinned Cancer Moon. Everyone will be feeling a little touchy, so steer clear of situations, like family dramas, which have the potential to become emotionally fraught. The good news is that this tetchy aspect will be short-lived. Come evening, the tender-hearted Cancer Moon will be slow dancing toward a rendezvous with romantic Venus, making Saturday the best date night this week!
How apropos that the mama-loving Cancer Moon will be hosting Mother’s Day. This family-focused Moon will also be the recipient of sparkling aspects from the Sun, Uranus and Jupiter. If you’ll be spending time with Mom, humor Jupiter’s sense of adventure and Uranus’s urge for originality by thinking outside the candy box. Skip the traditional brunch/flowers/chocolate and give Mom an experience she’ll never forget!
