KAT'S OVERVIEW FOR WEEK OF JUNE 8, 2015

We ease into the week with the Moon hiding out in illusory Pisces from early Monday morning until Tuesday afternoon when it goes Void.  Enjoy the illusion of calm while it lasts because once the Moon enters restless, impulsive Aries on Wednesday, we’re going to start feeling that same sense of urgency we did right before Mercury started backsliding three weeks ago.

Suddenly, all of that stuff that got hung up, put off or shoved aside during the Retrograde is on fire and there won’t be enough hours in the day to get it all done. The sense of immediacy that Aries is imposing is in direct contrast to Mercury’s slow-motion crawl midweek as it prepares to pull an about face and go direct Thursday at 6:33 p.m. Finally!

The important thing to remember is that Mercury’s Retrograde is most difficult for us just before it changes course.  Yes, Mercury is finally going to be moving ahead, but it has to come to a screeching halt in order to turn around and change direction. Therein lies the rub! When Mercury is at its slowest, our frustration levels are at their highest. The good news is that the Moon slips into slow and steady Taurus on Friday and Saturday helping to smooth this rough transition.

WEEKEND FORECAST
The Moon will be in easy-does-it Taurus on Saturday, until it goes void at 6:06 p.m. Make sure to have a Plan B for that Saturday night date or Sunday brunch, just in case.  Once the Moon enters hyper Gemini on Sunday at 1.51 p.m., we may find ourselves cutting the weekend short to catch up on all those loose ends left over from the last few weeks.  You can console yourself with the fact that Mercury is no longer backsliding. Good riddance to the worst Mercury Retrograde in recent memory!!!!
