Week of 5.25.15
KAT'S OVERVIEW FOR MAY 25, 2015
With a driven Mars making a sharp turn into foggy, nebulous Neptune on Monday, we may have doubts about where we’re going, figuratively or literally. If it’s the former, taking the road less traveled just might lead in a promising direction. But if you’re stuck in Memorial Day traffic, stick with the roads you know: going off in a new direction will only lead to frustration. Make sure you have some backup if your GPS goes on the fritz (remember Mercury’s Retrograde). Print out directions before hand or go Luddite and use an old-fashioned road map, if you can find one.
Industrious Virgo ushers us back to work on Tuesday, which should be a busy and productive day. But Wednesday could prove difficult. Not only is the Moon Void (until 5:42p) but a verbose Mercury and a bossy, opinionated Mars will be going at it. Even if some good ideas get generated, there’s a strong tendency for discussions to devolve into a war of words. Wait until the Moon moves into diplomatic Libra (from 5:42p Wed. through 4:20p. Friday) to revisit these ideas and you’re sure to find a working compromise.
Enough about work! That Libra Moon is also one of the best for romance, socializing, parties and enjoying the arts, making Wednesday and Thursday perfect for an amorous adventure and/or night on the town. With Mercury Retrograde, you can look forward to reigniting the passion with your partner or rekindling the spark with an old flame.
If you’re not otherwise engaged, take a chance and reconnect with a former love. If you are, and an ex unexpectedly materializes, the good news is that Libra is the sign of tact so you should be able to tap into your inner diplomat and extricate yourself. Or not. The Moon will be in the jealous, obsessive possessive and crazy sexy sign of Scorpio all weekend. You’ll know soon enough if you’ve saved the day or gotten yourself into an unholy mess. Good luck!
Weekend Forecast
Don’t like your passion infused with drama and emotional blackmail? Between Mercury Retrograde and fuzzy Neptune both mangling communications, and Scorpio’s tendency to dredge up the past, why not just go on a silent retreat? I’m already packed for mine, so all I can say now is: Avoid any romantic entanglements this weekend. The rest is silence!
