Kat's Overview for the Week of June 29, 2015
Maybe it’s because the week starts off in the lofty, idealistic sign of Sagittarius, or maybe it’s just that upcoming three-day holiday weekend, but I’m feeling very optimistic about the week ahead. So, at the risk of sounding like a Pollyanna, I’ll even predict this could be the best week we’ve had in a long time.
Monday’s Moon in buoyant Sagittarius is spurring us to let our reach exceed our grasp and an ardent Venus, flirting with I’ll-try-anything Uranus, is just daring us to try something, or someone, new. There may even be a creative venture in the offing. (Venus is the patron planet of the arts.) But whether this energy manifests as an inspired project, a personal best or a love interest, fresh angles and new perspectives are called for. It’s time to color outside the lines!
Take charge on Wednesday as the brilliant Full Moon in Capricorn stimulates your inner CEO. A project started around the winter solstice last December could reach fruition now and/or you may be given a chance to show off your leadership abilities.
Venus/Jupiter
Venus is once again making headlines as she drops Uranus and puts the moves on adventurous Jupiter. This pairing is all about abundance, indulgence and feeling the LOVE. Even those who have put romance on the back burner may be inspired to take a chance on l’amour. But take heed: Venus, when left to her own devices, tries to strike a delicate balance. But now that she's rubbing, um, shoulders, with the king of debauchery, expect nothing less than full orgiastic excess. Unless you're ready to go forth and multiply, take precautions, or you may find yourself "expecting" more than you bargained for—this duo is notoriously fertile! Venus/Jupiter is also as infamous for grabbing the spotlight as a Kardashian, so watch for opportunities to promote yourself and expand your scope. Just keep in mind that the Moon is in no-nonsense Capricorn and don’t let self promotion spiral into self aggrandizement. Ego trips are not on the itinerary.
