Week of 6.22.15
Kat's Overview for the Week of June 22, 2015
We’re on a roll! It looks like another good week: The Moon is waxing in strength making this a fruitful time to initiate new projects, ideas and relationships; there’s very little interference from those pesky Void Moons; and the Sun has just begun its month-long stay in Cancer, fostering a nurturing and fertile environment for you to realize your plans. And with the-skies-the-limit Jupiter in cahoots with I’ll-try-anything Uranus, you may even feel inspired to trot out one of your wilder schemes. Why not? Don't answer that. Just ask it!
On Monday and Tuesday, the Moon bustles along in industrious Virgo, the perfect sign for getting things done. But watch for communication snafus early Tuesday, which may have you asking yourself if Mercury is still Retrograde (It's not). Confusion and misunderstandings abound when our too-clever pal Mercury tangles with a vague and muddled Neptune. Avoid getting into a clash of ideas with colleagues, as things can devolve pretty quickly. Make like a Virgo and stick with the facts. Don’t indulge in fanciful thinking or happy ears: if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Wednesday and Thursday the Moon is in harmonious Libra, so collaboration and teamwork rule both days. The only Void Moon occurring during the work week is on Friday (until 1:57p.m.), so that is not the day to schedule any important meetings or presentations. But that shouldn’t be too hard. How much serious work gets done on a summer Friday anyway?
WEEKEND FORECAST
The Moon is in the dramatic and intense Scorpio all weekend. Usually I’d advise you to avoid emotional complications, if at all possible, during this time. But this Moon just happens to be getting cozy with a host of other planets, bringing out Scorpio’s best side, which makes Friday and Saturday nights great for bonding with that special someone. Sunday, however, not so much. That’s when the Scorpio Moon collides with cold, hard Saturn, setting the stage for old, nasty grievances to resurface. Play it safe and go solo on Sunday. If you’re still jonesin’ for drama, just rewatch the last episode of Game of Thrones.
