IT’S VIRGO TIME. Snap out of it!
That Princess who, once upon a mattress, detected a pea had to be a Virgo. No other sign is quite as refined and discriminating.
The Sun's turn in brisk and busy Virgo signals that the dog days of Leo have come to a close. It's time to snap out of that summer stupor and take action.
There's no time now for lofty, armchair philosophizing. Virgo doesn't chew the fat, she cuts it.
No task is too humble, no nit too small to pick for this helpful, fastidious (some might say anal) sign. Things need doing and Virgo prompts us to get them done.
As that wise Virgo Mother Teresa once said:
“Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.”
(The Sun will be in Virgo 8/22—9/22)
Star Turn: LILY TOMLIN
Virgo is the stuff that legends are made of and Lily Tomlin is a classic. This versatile Virgo embodies all the resourcefulness, intelligence and wit of this immensely gifted sign.
Virgo virtuouso LILY TOMLIN
And, at 75, Tomlin shows no signs of slowing down. Her Netflix series Grace and Frankie has been renewed, she's touring the country in her one-woman, multi-character show and her performance in the new film Grandma is already generating Oscar buzz. With lucky Jupiter burnishing her sign for the next year, there's no doubt her star will continue to shine.
And yet, true to her sign, she still frets. "I think you should know I worry a lot." she's confided. Anxiety comes naturally to this high-strung sign: Pisces pray, Virgos worry.
It's not that Virgos don't have faith. They're just pragmatic enough to know that God doesn't do windows. So they roll up their sleeves and pitch in.
Actually, the existence of God is the one thing Tomlin doesn't worry about. "But it has occurred to me that God has Alzheimer’s and has forgotten that we exist."
Now that’s something to worry about!
