Second Chances?
MONDAY’s Gemini Moon aligns with an articulate Mercury and convivial Venus, creating a welcoming climate ideal for all types of communications and social interactions. Of course, with Mercury backpedaling, this isn’t the time to start new relationships or ventures. But the stage is set for you to take advantage of one of the great benefits of the Retrograde—the do-over. You now have a chance to redo something that didn’t work out the first time around. Reach out to current or former associates and revisit a project that could benefit from a second look and a more collaborative approach. Hopefully, the second time’s the charm! At 3:52p the Moon shorts out and goes Void for the rest of the day. Read all about the do’s and don’ts of the Void Moon here.

Crab Boil
At 8:26a, on TUESDAY, the Moon enters Cancer, ushering in a major change in mood. Unfortunately, it’s likely to be a bad one. That’s because this temperamental Moon will be squaring off with a harsh Saturn and an equally thin-skinned Neptune. This touchy dynamic can make everyone over sensitive and intensify the Crab’s penchant to overreact. With Mercury relapsing, long-simmering resentments could boil over and you could find yourself caught up in any number of meltdowns and upheavals. The saving grace is that both Neptune and instinctive Cancer heighten your intuition. Listen to your gut, and you’ll know if a situation is going south. Then, make like a crab and withdraw into your shell—until evening. That’s when a jaunty Jupiter breezes in making this a great time to reconnect with people you haven’t seen in a while. If you’re looking for a fun night out, Tuesday’s your best bet.
We’ll experience the zanier side of the Cancer Moon on WEDNESDAY, courtesy of a favorable link between the bold Sun and a madcap Uranus. Their influence on this lunatic Moon, not only inspires confidence and originality, it coaxes out Cancer’s creativity, stimulating both your imagination and your intellect. There will be some friction to contend with, however, due to a lovers spat involving Mars and Venus. The tension between these primal forces can often be released physically (working out) or sexually (making out). If those don’t appeal, you can always channel this passion into an all-consuming task or creative project. It’s nice to have options. At 8:42p, the Moon goes drops out and goes Void for the rest of the night.

New Moon in Leo: Dream Big. Go Bold. Then Wait.
That Void Moon continues through THURSDAY morning, so expect delays and give yourself extra time to get around. At 11:28a, the Moon cruises into fiery Leo, culminating in a New Moon. When the Sun and Moon conjoin in this majestic sign, you are all but commanded to flaunt your gifts and display your grandeur. Happily, you’ll have plenty of help, as this New Moon will be strongly influenced by the celestial big four: Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. This upsurge of ambition, imagination and resourcefulness empowers you to dream big and go bold. If you’ve been stuck in a dead-end situation or not getting the r.e.s.p.e.c.t you deserve, this lunation will motivate you to explore your options. Just don’t act on them yet. While all New Moons inspire fresh beginnings, with Mercury Retrograde, starting anything new now would be an uphill climb. What you can do is train this blaze at a work in progress. Fire up any project/idea/relationship that’s been on a back burner and use Leo’s strategic leadership to devise a battle plan for future action. Then, access Leo’s characteristic patience. When Mercury’s on hiatus, we always have to wait a little longer to see results.

Razzle Dazzle!
The Leo Moon sticks around for an encore, on FRIDAY, sharing the stage with a clever, albeit Retrograde, Mercury. But don’t let the fact that Mercury’s backsliding, rain on your parade. You can get ahead of the curve by looking backward. The time is ripe for reconnecting, reworking and redirecting.  Reconnect with former colleagues and clients and remind everyone how fabulous and talented you are. That deal you lost six months ago? Check back and see if they want to rethink that decision. That brilliant campaign Client A turned down? Rework it for Client B. There’s a vibrancy to this day that will fill you with creativity and bravura, as long as you redirect your talents toward past efforts. Who knows? This could be the time you finally bring your masterpiece to fruition!

WEEKEND FORECAST
There’s a Void Moon on SATURDAY that lasts until late afternoon, so don’t make any set-in-stone plans. Give yourself a list of options to choose from and see where the day takes you. It just may be that this Void period is the best part of the day. That’s because, when the Moon moves into Virgo at 4:55p, it will not only run smack into a skirmish with an unpredictable, unruly Uranus, but it will get beset by a host of minor, but irritating, aspects. Stay flexible and keep your expectations low and you just might just eke out a decent day.
SUNDAY is the fun day this weekend! Yes, the Moon is still in workaholic Virgo. But a rollicking Jupiter has far more exciting things in mind and is sure to foil Virgo’s compulsive diligence, so you can plan something more enjoyable. The key word is “plan.” The hack for Virgo is to use its fixation with structure to schedule your fun. Otherwise, this over-industrious Moon will crowd your day with menial tasks and, before you know it, another precious summer Sunday will have come and gone. This would be a great time for get-togethers, outdoor activities or going on an adventure. Enjoy!
