KAT'S WEEKLY OVERVIEW FOR NOVEMBER 23

Monday, Monday, Can’t Trust that Day
The Moon is Void Monday morning, so give yourself extra time to get to work and hold off on scheduling important meetings or appointments until 11:26a, when the Moon enters earthy, grounded Taurus, (through 8:25p Tuesday). We tend to downshift into a moseying gait when the Moon is in this placid sign, which I think is a nice way to ease into any week. But if that’s too boring for you, you’ll be interested to know that Monday holds a wildcard, in the form of amorous Venus and unpredictable Uranus getting down and flirty. Translation: expect the unexpected in the realm of romance, as Uranus creates truth or dare challenges. Feelings can run hot and cold, and back again. You could get a text, out of the blue, from the one that got away, or you might suddenly realize you’re attracted to a long-time friend or colleague. Pssst! Should you get involved with a coworker, you might want to keep it on the q.t., at least until you know where it’s going. These days, you never know if an office romance will wind up as a courtship or a court case.

The Many Faces of the Gemini Full Moon
A Full Moon is the high-water mark of every month, a time of exhilaration and volatility. In the days before and following it, emotions run high and feelings run the gamut from ecstasy to lunacy. Lunacy seems more likely this time around because the Moon is pulling in static from harsh Saturn and delusional Neptune. Usually, a Gemini Full Moon will find us brimming with sentimental feelings and a strong urge to express them.  You could, for instance, find yourself having a teary, heart to heart with your best friend or apologizing to your brother for stealing his boyfriend. But this time around, you’re more likely to be ducking the plate of mashed potatoes Trump-loving Uncle Henry threw across the table because someone (I won’t mention any names) called The Donald an a-hole. Suffice to say, it’s best to avoid politics or any other volatile subjects this Thanksgiving. Also, beware the over share.  You could end up saying/texting/sexting things you’ll regret. If you absolutely must unburden yourself, do it on Snapchat.

Saturn vs. Neptune, Round 1
What can you expect when realistic Saturn squares off with idealistic Neptune? Nothing short of a collision between your dreams and your reality. Thursday features the first of three rounds between these two opposing forces. This initial bout sets the stage and the issues it brings up will be revisited throughout next year. (Rematches occur 6/17/16 and 9/10/16).  When Saturn lands a punch, it can crush our dreams and fill us with doubts, fear and foreboding. When Neptune connects, it blurs our vision, clouds our minds and dissolves our sense of self. On the positive side, Neptune can provide the creativity and imagination to inspire our vision while Saturn provides the structure and discipline to sustain it.  The more conscious we can become about the potentials and pitfalls of these two planets, the better chance we have to experience the positive side of these energies. Just know that brokering a compromise between these two is a delicate balancing act that requires great patience. There are no short-cuts or short-term solutions on Saturn’s watch and no self-serving or self-aggrandizing aspirations under Neptune’s. During this period, it’s best to take small, realistic steps and work slowly and steadily toward your vision. This will help stave off the disillusionment and disappointment that runs rampant with these two energies. Yes, it’s a challenging transit, but the good news is the Cosmos is giving us plenty of time to learn the ropes!

Black Friday Shopping Alert!
The Moon will be Void from 10:35p Thanksgiving night through Friday at 2:27p—smack in the middle of those super sales. When it comes to buying large-ticket items, Void Moons are similar to Mercury Retrograde, so the same caveat applies: Save your receipts, make sure the item is fully refundable and watch out for those pointless and punitive restocking fees. Of course, some of these sales will be completely nonrefundable, so do think twice before making those type of purchases during the Void.

Traveler's Advisory
Outsmart the pesky Void Moons that threaten to foul up your travel plans this week by checking the AstroCast. As you can see from the week-at-a-glance forecast above, the Moon will be Void Wednesday until 12:15p, then Thursday from 10:35p thru 2:26p Friday, and again Sunday from 7:46a to 7:46p. If you’re on the move during any of these times, double-check schedules and reservations and give yourself extra time to get where you’re going. If you're driving, have an analog back-up, aka a multifold paper map (remember those?), should your digital devices go on the fritz.

WEEKEND FORECAST
Cozy. Mostly. The Moon will be in Cancer, Friday evening and all day Saturday. In case you didn't get enough family time during Thanksgiving, the homey Cancer Moon offers you a chance for more. But for those who’ve had their fill of family for now, the sign of the crab invites you to withdraw into your shell and chill. Whether that means sleeping in, streaming old movies or having your family of choice over for T’Day leftovers, Cancer’s nurturing vibe will give you a chance to hit the reset button. This comfy, low-key vibe carries over through Sunday, as the Moon will be Void until 7:46p. That should give you plenty of time to rest up for the fiery extroverted energy of Leo which follows.

Week of 11.16.15

KAT'S WEEKLY OVERVIEW FOR NOVEMBER 16

Try it. You'll Like it.
he Capricorn Moon, that is. In fact, I wish every week started out with this ultra-focused and industrious energy.  Full disclosure: I am a Capricorn, so of course I'd respond to that tenacious, can-do vibe. But once you synch up with this buckle-down energy and start tackling tough projects and clocking off your to-do list with an efficiency that astounds, I’m betting you’ll become a believer, too. Yes, the Moon does go Void at 3:53p. But you should be all done by then. So reward yourself with a mocha-frappa-whatever, go on cruise control and pat yourself on the back for having such a productive day!

Beyond the Fringe
If Capricorn's straitlaced work ethic had you feeling straitjacketed, you'll welcome the free-wheeling, do-your-own- thing vibe happening Tuesday and Wednesday, compliments of that easy-rider Aquarius Moon.  Lead with your most innovative ideas and don't edit your uniqueness.  Tuesday is the better day of the two to articulate your vision, due to a super dose of clarity thrown off by the brilliant Sun palling around with communicative Mercury.

Drink, Pray, Love
What else can you do when the Moon is in intoxicating, spiritual, romantic Pisces for two whole days (Thursday and Friday)? I meant that rhetorically, but if I have to answer, the only other thing we can do under this fantastic sign, is CREATE! Whenever we're under the influence of this highly idealistic (some may chide “delusional”) energy, we experience the sublime tension between fantasy and reality. One way to release that pressure is through creativity, which is always stimulated under this imaginative, artistic and visionary sign. Let the muse be with you!

WEEKEND FORECAST
Fiery!  The Moon will be in bold and passionate Aries until 2:15p Sunday. This onrush of exuberance needs an outlet or it could all dissipate into petty, churlish fights. So go to the gym, go for a run but let's get physical! And yes, sex counts too. After all, Aries is one extremely hot sign.

It’s Sagittarius Time. Be Happy!
At 10:26 am Sunday the Sun leaves the gloom and intensity of Scorpio behind and enters the bright and jolly realm of Sagittarius for the next month. Can holiday merrymaking and gluttonous feasts be far behind?

Bulletin from the “Better Late Than Never” Department
Warrior Mars moved into peacenik Libra last Wednesday (11/12/15) where he’ll remain through 1/3/16.  How will impertinent Mars fare in diplomatic Venus's sign? Mars stimulates, agitates and pushes the envelope in all the areas ruled by the sign he inhabits. In relationship-oriented Libra, that translates into an end to fence sitting. Rash Mars is too antsy for delicate balancing acts, so there’ll be no more "should I stay or should I go" indecisiveness!  Relationship decisions will be made! Same goes for contracts and legal matters. Mars wants action now and will push hard for results.  As for Libra’s sway on Mars, that Venus vibe will soften Mars's coarse edges and curb his go-it-alone mentality. Getting ahead when Mars is in Libra means collaboration is key to successful outcomes. Go team!

Week of 11.9.15

KAT'S WEEKLY OVERVIEW FOR NOVEMBER 9

Avoid the Void!
We have another all-day Void Moon on Monday.  Expect delays, late starts, rescheduling and all-around dishabille, which, depending on your outlook, may be frustrating, nerve-wracking or surprisingly enjoyable! Remember: Void Moons aren’t bad, just unpredictable.

Welcome to the Dark Side of the Moon!
“And if your head explodes with dark forebodings too
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.”

Both Monday and Tuesday, we’re in the shadowy, transitional phase known as the Dark of the Moon. This introspective period, which occurs in the days before the New Moon, opens a window into your subconscious, revealing some of the detritus that may be preventing you from realizing your deepest longings and wisdom. I know. It sounds very new age-y and woo-woo. But, if you’re so disposed, you might take advantage of this liminal time to do a psychic detox and rid yourself of any noxious energies, ideas, habits (people?) that no longer serve your greater good. The Cosmos will be providing the hefty bag and hauling it all away, so why not just let. it. go!

Carpe Diem!
Now that you’ve let it all go, get ready to seize the transformational energy of Wednesday’s New Moon in Scorpio with both hands. New Moons provide fresh starts. If there’s an area in your life, from the emotional to the financial to the sexual, that can use an extreme makeover, Scorpio’s regenerative nature translates into a whole lot of healing power. Sure Scorpio is intense, even a little scary. But it’s also the super change-agent that helps push (okay, shove) us out of our comfort zones.  Tap into that infamous Scorpio resolve and access all the power and glory this very fertile Moon promises to impart.

Fun! Fun! Fun!
Thankfully, the “weekend” comes early. We get two full days of the Moon in frolicking, rollicking Sagittarius, making Thursday and Friday the best times for a good time this week. Do we feel euphoric when the Moon is in Sadge because it’s such an upbeat energy or because we’ve left the Voldemort-like intensity of Scorpio behind? Who cares! Enjoy it while it lasts!

Weekend Forecast
ow key. The Moon is Void all day Saturday (until 7:21p) and some of us will welcome this downtime to recover from the excesses of the past week, both emotionally (from whatever the Scorpio New Moon dredges up) and physically (from all that over-the-top Sagittarius energy). So chill out Saturday and go where your whimsy takes you. You Type A’s, who feel guilty about slacking off (although it is the weekend, for chrissakes!), can be as responsible as you like and make up for any lost productivity on Sunday when the Moon is in diligent, workaholic Capricorn.

Week of 11.2.15

KAT'S WEEKLY OVERVIEW FOR NOVEMBER 2

Lights! Camera! Action!
The Moon does a star turn in dramatic Leo, arriving 10:48a Monday. This two-day gig should offer ample opportunity for you to take center stage and strut your stuff.  We'll all be buzzed by that show-offy, crazy creative, sexy Leo vibe. So grab a paintbrush, a microphone, a bustiere, whatever turns you on, and express yourself.

Passions Piqued?
That bustiere may come in handy, as Monday also features the last coupling of ardent Venus and racy Mars for 2015. This is an excellent transit for all relationships, from intimate to professional, and all types of self expression, from artistic to romantic. Whether you're looking to make art or love, war or peace, count on this dynamic duo to provide the spark.

Smart Talk
Also on Monday, Chief Communications Officer Mercury enters the, penetrating, obsessive, occasionally caustic, realm of Scorpio, until November 20. Mercury in Scorpio sharpens our minds, as Scorpio lends laser-like focus and resolve to the otherwise capricious Mercury.  So if you've been looking for a span of time to do a deep dive into a project or subject, this is it! Adversely, Mercury in Scorpio can sharpen our tongues. Think twice before talking smack, sending that nasty-gram or letting fly that stinging critique.

Avoid the Void!
We have another all-day Void Moon this Wednesday (until 9:21p). Routine tasks, brainstorming and daydreaming are okay; Scheduling important appointments, making large purchases, getting married, not so much. Here's a Void Moon Tip:

If you find yourself pressured into making plans you didn’t really want to make, try scheduling that date for a Void Moon. Odds are better than good that something will come up, giving you a much better/more legit excuse to cancel or postpone than you could come up with in the heat of the moment. Or better still, they'll end up cancelling, saving you the trouble.

Make it Work!
We get two solid days (Thursday and Friday) of the Moon in industrious, meticulous Virgo! Make a long, detailed list of things you want to achieve/finish/tackle and you’ll be amazed at how easily you can blast through it in those two days. The list is important because, well, Virgo likes lists, and also because without one, you could easily fritter away this productive energy.

WEEKEND FORECAST
Very romantic. Friday and Saturday are not just the best date nights this week but, arguably, the best in a long while! The oh, so sociable Libra Moon always creates a romantic mood, but this time she’s outdone herself by inviting that sexy ménage a trois of foxy Venus, frisky Mars and get-lucky Jupiter to the party. Wait, there’s more! Venus moves into her home sign Libra in the wee hours of Sunday morning (through December 4) fanning those love flames and amplifying the urge to merge. It rarely gets better than that. Enjoy!  FYI That infamous voluptuary, Venus, has also been known to amp the urge to splurge. Watch your spending!

Week of 10.26.15

KAT'S WEEKLY OVERVIEW FOR OCTOBER 26

The Moon goes Void 8:25a Monday and remains that way the rest of the day. Keep your head down, stick with routine tasks and stay out of trouble. Some of that brash and bratty Aries Moon vibe from earlier may persist, spiking an urge to pull a "my way or the highway" show of bravado. Short tempers and fuses prevail early in the day, so think twice before provoking any situations.  On the other end of the spectrum, if you're just looking for a day to slack off, you’ll find plenty of opportunities (in the form of delays, cancellations and general confusion), to escape detection.

Void Moon Tip
Ever feel pressured into making plans you didn’t really want to make? If you find yourself cornered, try scheduling that date for a Void Moon. Odds are better than good that something will come up, giving you a much better/more legit excuse to cancel or postpone than you could come up with in the heat of the moment. Or better still, they'll end up cancelling, saving you the trouble.

Bull Moon
The Full Moon is the climax of every month. It’s a time of exhilaration and volatility, illumination and realizations. Emotions run high and span the gamut from heightened intuition to downright lunacy. That said, Tuesday’s Full Moon is in rock-steady Taurus, so how stimulating can it be? Very, if you consider that Taurus is the most sensuous sign of the Zodiac. But it can inspire even more than your love life. Security-minded Taurus, pulling in good vibes from fortuitous Jupiter and powerful Pluto, could help you manifest more abundance in your life from invigorating your self worth and boosting your earning potential to helping bring an artistic project to fruition. Now that’s something to howl about!

The Buzz Is Back
With Mercury back on track and zipping ahead, make the most of two full days (Thursday and Friday) of the Moon in bustling, communicative, multitasking Gemini. Pick up where you left off on projects that got waylaid during the retrograde, add a fresh approach or start something brand new. Friday’s a great night for getting together with friends. Check out that new club or hot show or maybe host a game night. Wii tennis anyone? FYI: These two days are also perfect for scheduling important dates or appointments—the ones you intend to keep!

Weekend Forecast
Tricks and treats! That’s what this weekend is showcasing.  Saturday is Hallow’s Eve aka Halloween, when the wayward souls of the departed come back to visit their old haunts. To celebrate, the cosmos has scared up two full days of the Moon in Cancer, that most nostalgic, backward glancing sign.  The family-friendly Cancer Moon is a great time to spend time with kith and kin, past or present. I’m not saying you’ll necessarily be reconnecting with any of your dearly departed, but if the, um, spirit moves you, break out the Ouija Board and start divining. Goodbye!

Week of 10.19.15

KAT'S WEEKLY OVERVIEW FOR OCTOBER 19

A diligent Capricorn Moon sets the tone for what’s shaping up to be a very productive week. Tap in to Capricorn’s super-focused, ultra-organized vibe (Monday and Tuesday) and you'll be amazed by what you can accomplish! Ruled by taskmaster Saturn, Capricorn is loathe to waste time. Under its influence, we're inspired to streamline activities and devise more efficient ways of doing things.  True, Capricorn’s process can feel a bit plodding. But this particular Moon is pulling in supportive energy from a whole host of other planets, which should help grease those wheels.

Take a Walk on the Weird Side
Remember that idea you were told was a little too original? You may have been shot down the first time you proposed it, but pitch it again. With the Moon in innovative, think-outside-the-box Aquarius (Wednesday and Thursday), you may find a more receptive audience now. The Aquarius Moon advocates coloring outside the lines. Let your ingenuity shine!

It’s Scorpio Time!  We're Not in Kansas Anymore
On Friday, the Sun begins its month-long visit to Scorpio, one of the most intense, dramatic, dare I say, scary times of the year. As Libra's sunshine-and-lollipop facade fades, Persephone heads back to the underworld, the trees drop their leaves and the landscape turns eerie. We don masks and dance with goblins, ghosts and gurus to scare up spirits. So gird yourself for a close encounter of the most profound kind, as you fearlessly seek out the dark side of your soul. Scorpio is the sign of death, rebirth and ch-ch-changes, after all. Turn and face the strange!

WEEKEND FORECAST
The Moon is Void nearly all of Saturday so don’t freak if plans don’t pan out exactly the way you expected. Keep your options open and strike a go-with-the-flow groove.

Venus and Jupiter’s Last Tango in Virgo!
On Sunday, Venus and Jupiter couple up for the third and last time this year. The merger between the doyenne of desire and the lord of lasciviousness, in earthy Virgo, evokes all sorts of lurid and wild  imaginings.  Even those who have forsaken relationships may be inspired to take another chance on love, or at least lust.  Who knows? Maybe the third time's a charm.  The less prurient minded among you may like to know that this pairing could also sweeten (Venus) your luck (Jupiter) and/or increase (Jupiter) your finances (Venus)!

Week of 10.12.15

KAT'S WEEKLY OVERVIEW FOR OCTOBER 12

What’s Libra Got to Do With It?
verything, since the week begins with a New Moon in this vibrant, very sociable sign. This New Moon offers us a chance to start a fresh chapter in the areas ruled by Libra: love, creative projects, negotiations and all partnerships, from the personal to the professional.

Since midsummer, we’ve had plenty of time to reflect upon relationships, what with love-planet Venus’s six-week rebound being followed by Mercury’s recent retrograde in Libra. Questions ran the gamut from why am I in this relationship to why don’t I have a relationship and, for some, how the %!#@ can I get out of this mess?

The New Moon prompts us to take that next step. For some, it may be down the aisle; for others, out the door. Of course, as mentioned earlier, this is just the beginning of a new chapter. (New Moons are the time for planting seeds that bear fruit later.) The whole story is yet to be told.

Go Deep or Go Home!
The Moon will be Void most of the day Tuesday, until it enters the oft-difficult sign of Scorpio, at 5:38p. But it just so happens that this Scorpio Moon will be playing nice with no less than five other planets all day Wednesday (until it goes Void again at 8:58p.)

It’s not often we get to see the bright side of dark Scorpio, so make the most of this powerful and healing energy.  Tapping in to this potent vibe can unleash a fathomless reservoir of resources and resolve. Whether you’re looking to create a profound connection with a loved one, heal old wounds, do a deep-dive into a project or get to the bottom of a messy intrigue, this Scorpio Moon can help you break on through to the other side.

And There's More!
On Friday, the cosmic combo of can-do Mars, think-big Jupiter and change-agent Pluto will be rockin’ in three-part harmony.  This spectacular thrust of energy can kick-start and deliver practically anything you set your heart on. Do NOT sell yourself short. Dream big! No, even bigger (c'mon Jupiter’s involved), and take a chance on your vision.

WEEKEND FORECAST
Merry and bright! What could be better than two whole days (Friday and Saturday) of the Moon in lively, fun-filled, adventurous Sagittarius? Grab your posse, kick up your heels and party like it’s 2099! You’ll have all day Sunday to recuperate, as the Moon will be Void until 2:52p. That should be enough time to sleep it off, even for a party-hearty Sadge!

Week of 10.5.15

KAT'S WEEKLY OVERVIEW FOR OCTOBER 5

Bad Moon Rising?
With the Moon Void all day Monday, the week gets off to a non-start, offering the opportunists among us a chance to fly under the radar. If you feel the urge to blow off work, or whatever, and stay home, just blame it on a bad moon.

On Tuesday, expect the clash of the titan-sized egos, when the always self-important Sun squares off with master manipulator Pluto. This is NOT the day to get into it with anyone, especially “authority" figures, i.e., a person in a position to get you fired, break your heart, or cut off your access to the beach house. Defer difficult conversations until later in the week.

Love, Sex and Excess
On a happier note, that seductive minx Venus moves into Virgo on Thursday, joining a rakish Mars and lusty Jupiter. This ménage a trois of orbs, all hanging out in the same corner of the sky, suggests many tantalizing possibilities. “But wait!” you say. “Isn’t all this love power in prudish Virgo a waste?" In a word: NO! Earth signs, of which Virgo is a proud member (Taurus and Capricorn are the others), are the most sensual signs in the Zodiac. True, Virgo does advocate that cleanliness is next to godliness. But once you're both squeaky clean, she doesn't care how down and dirty it gets. Here’s the low-down on earthy Virgo: Demure in the street; decadent in the sheets. Satisfaction always guaranteed!

Merc Alert! Mercury Moves Forward. Finally.
On Friday, at 10:58a, the first rock from the Sun begins chugging forward again. Mercury is especially difficult on the day it changes direction, because as it winds down, we get riled up. Suddenly, all the stuff that got hung up, put off or shoved aside during the Retrograde is ON FIRE and there aren’t enough hours in the day to get it all done. A sense of immediacy develops and we start to feel that same urgency (panic?) we had just before Mercury started backsliding. Even though Mercury will be moving ahead, do give him some time to get back up to speed before making those all-important “swipe right/swipe left” relationship decisions.

WEEKEND FORECAST
It’s shaping up to be a weird weekend. To start, the Moon will be Void the whole day Saturday. You know the Void drill: be flexible, lower your expectations and stay open to changes that just may turn out better than the original plan.  Case in point: A cancelled date on Saturday may turn out to be the best thing that happens. Here’s why. Not only is a designing Venus at cross purposes with spoilsport Saturn (not a warm and fuzzy aspect) but a proud Sun, in relationship oriented Libra, is crossing swords with freedom-loving Uranus. The former pairing invokes a sulky mood and feeling lonely and misunderstood. The latter combo, incites a revolt against relationship constraints, real or imagined, and presents you with a truth or dare question: Do you have to accept an edited version of yourself in order to maintain this relationship?  Hey, don’t look at me for answers! Whaddya think I am, a fortune teller?

Week of 9.28.15

KAT'S WEEKLY OVERVIEW FOR SEPTEMBER 28

Monday, Monday, Can’t Trust That Day
The week begins with the Moon in feisty, action-packed Aries, which is usually a great sign to start off any week—except this Monday. Not only will we be feeling the aftershocks of Sunday’s Lunar Eclipse in Aries, but the Moon will be squaring off with a seething Pluto and, later on, ramming into a volatile Uranus.  Expect the prevailing mood to range from fairly cranky to moderately overcast.

Especially since the Aries Moon tends to spur us into a lot of activity and a great sense of urgency. But with Mercury spinning backwards, there won’t be a whole lot to show for all the effort. You’ll no sooner take on one task, when a more urgent one crops up. By day’s end, you’ll have lots of starts, few finishes.

The good news is things mellow out Tuesday afternoon and all day Wednesday when the combination of the Moon lolling about in easygoing Taurus and Mercury’s Retrograde offers us plenty of time to play catch up.

Avoid Those Voids!
We’ve been pretty lucky this summer as Void Moon activity mostly took place “off-peak” (late at night or in the wee hours of the morning) and didn’t interfere too much with our plans, at least for those of us in the Eastern Time zone.  But this week, the Void Moon returns to prime time, notably on Tuesday until 2:57p, Thursday until 4:03p and Saturday from 1:18p to 8:22p.  Turn on your cruise control and stick with routine tasks during these periods, making the most of those non-Void Moon times to schedule appointments and make important calls. Remember, a Void Moon isn’t necessarily “bad,” just unpredictable.

Bad Boy Mars Enters Prim and Proper Virgo
With so much going on last week, I forgot to tell you that Mars moved out of languorous Leo (9/24) and into super-industrious Virgo, where he will remain until 11/12. We can all be super productive now, as the ultra-earthy Virgo vibe helps scattershot Mars focus its enormous drive. Because Virgo spotlights health and fitness, our daily routine and work, there’s no better time to get those checkups, get back to the gym and get organized.  BTW, a zealous Mars in anal Virgo during a Mercury Retrograde is an obsessive-compulsive organizer’s idea of heaven. Go ahead. Alphabetize your books! Arrange your shoes by heel size! Color-code your closets!

WEEKEND FORECAST
The Moon will be Void most of Saturday, so make sure to double check those dinner reservations and have a Plan B in place, just in case.  With the Moon in cozy Cancer, Sunday is the perfect day for a family meal and connecting with your nearest and dearest.  It’s also a great time to stay home and curl up with a good book, binge-watch TV or better yet just spend the whole day in bed.

Week of 9.21.15

KAT'S WEEKLY OVERVIEW FOR SEPTEMBER 21

Let's get down to business! The week begins with the Moon in no-nonsense Capricorn. Hopefully two days of this solid, earthy energy will lend some stability as we begin to adjust to Mercury’s about face.

Everything Old is New Again?
On Tuesday, sexy Venus will be flirting with wildcard Uranus, so expect the unexpected where amour is concerned. When this duo is doing the tango, you may feel stimulated to take a walk on the wild side with your love life by trying something, or someone, new. But with Mercury rebounding, it’s more likely an old flame will appear. No! Not the one you just thought of. Uranus is unpredictable remember? The real question is:  Will your little love boat encounter smooth weather on this sentimental journey or will you suddenly realize you hopped aboard the ship of fools?

It’s Libra Time. Strike a Balance!
When the Sun enters collaborative, partner-oriented Libra, on Wednesday, the collective mindset will be focused on relationships. (For some of us it’s always Libra time.) The Libra Sun offers plenty of opportunities for getting together with friends, colleagues and loved ones, as it puts us all in the mood for a lot of social intercourse. I don’t know about you, but I’m beginning to feel very sociable.

WEEKEND FORECAST
Advisory warning in effect for Sunday’s Eclipse in Aries!
This Sunday’s Harvest Moon just happens to be a potent Lunar Eclipse. The surge of current sent by this Eclipse is strong enough to shock the most docile of us out of complacency, and spotlight any issues that may be impeding progress in your intimate relationship. The feisty, me-first Aries energy incites you to make changes that ensure your own needs get met and that free you from any unconstructive patterns that may be keeping you from getting the most out of your relationships.

Week of 9.14.15

KAT'S WEEKLY OVERVIEW FOR SEPTEMBER 14

We start the week off with two full days of the Moon in harmonizing, socializing Libra. (The perfect energy for those celebrating Rosh Hashanah). Tap into that peace and love vibe, or as my pal Melissa likes to say, “Go to the loving place.” You’ll want to stay balanced and keep a measured pace because aggravation levels will rise as Mercury slows to a halt.

Mercury Goes Retrograde! (9/17–10/9)
This Thursday, manic Mercury will go on retreat for the third and last time this year. When cerebral Mercury turns tail, it’s time to shift mental gears. If we can downshift from logic and rationale to a more intuitive and instinctual mindset, the retrograde period can open us to different perspectives and help us see the “same old, same old” in a brand new way. If not, we tear out our hair, gnash our teeth and curse the universe. In truth, there will be some of that of no matter how Zen you get.

Remember, when Mercury is at its slowest, our frustration levels are at their highest. So the actual day Mercury changes course tends to be very difficult, as this tricky orb has to come to a complete stop in order to turn around and change direction. It doesn’t help that the Moon will be in seething Scorpio on Thursday. Think short fuse.

BIG Dreams Are Made of This: Saturn Returns to Sagittarius!
After slogging backward and forward through Scorpio since mid-June (and before that, from 10/5/12–12/22/14), Saturn finally reemerges in Sagittarius, on Thursday, where it will stay until 12/19/17.

Saturn’s purpose is to challenge you in the arena of the sign it’s travelling through. When Saturn was spelunking through the mire of deep, dark Scorpio, its task was to force us into a showdown with those aspects of ourselves we tend to dismiss, repress and deny. Saturn worked overtime to exhume our darkest fears and insecurities in order to help us build a wealth of inner resources, the kind money can’t buy. It wasn’t easy; Saturn never is. For some, it felt like a 2 1/2-year-long root canal.

But now, Saturn is bringing its focus and discipline to fiery and adventurous Sagittarius.  Your mission, should you choose to accept it (um, actually you don’t have a choice), will be to embark on a vision quest and traverse unchartered terrain. That doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll find yourself on Naked and Afraid going hand to claw with a bear. Although I wouldn’t rule it out.  But since Sagittarius also governs higher education, wisdom, publishing and all things philosophical, it’s more likely you’ll explore the realms of the mind by going back to school, traveling and exploring new cultures or blogging profound thoughts. PS. Saturn can also provide the discipline needed to study a foreign language. Just say “oui!”

Blast from the Past?
The last time Saturn was in larger-than-life Sagittarius was the mid '80s. Uh-oh. Does that mean big hair and shoulder pads could make a comeback?

THE WEEKEND FORECAST
Jolly and bright! I had some cosmic karma points I needed to redeem by year’s end. So in a moment of Jupiter-inspired bonhomie, I decided to share them with you, loyal friends of the AstroCast, by arranging an absolutely fantastic last weekend of summer. Who says Capricorns aren’t generous? I requested two whole weekend days with the Moon in the sign that knows better than any other how to have a good time, Sagittarius. The Cosmos obliged.  Now all you have to do is enjoy and have fun! You’re welcome.

Week of 9.7.15

KAT'S WEEKLY OVERVIEW FOR SEPTEMBER 7, 2015

The holiday weekend ends and the new week begins with the Moon in Cancer.  Everything’s relative when the Moon is in this family-oriented sign. And while it’s a great time to connect with loved ones, we do tend to be a little more thin-skinned and sensitive to slights under this Moon.  Telling old family stories at the Labor Day picnic could morph from nostalgic to maudlin to tragic. Fortunately, the Cancer Moon heightens our intuitive instincts. Listen to your gut, and you’ll know when someone’s about to get on the pity pot or start the blame game.

Feel the Buzz!
Lightning strikes on Tuesday when a daring and spirited Mars connects with an inventive and ingenious Uranus. The air will be crackling with excitement and innovation. This jolt from the blue is just the impetus you need to take that mad-inspired idea/strategy to a new level. Don’t edit yourself. Let this ultra-creative energy play out and it just might take you in an astonishing new direction.

Think before you Tweet
Watch your words Wednesday when windy Mercury squares off with vengeful, nasty-ass Pluto. You may be in the right and feel the need to avenge yourself. But think twice before you send off that nasty-gram.  Any negativity unleashed now could come back to bite you big time. (This should make for a very amusing week at the circus, er, campaign trail, with candidates hurling ever-more colorful invective at each other.)

THE WEEKEND FORECAST
he big news this weekend is Sunday’s Solar Eclipse (a super-potent New Moon) in Virgo. Eclipses herald big events and changes in our lives, often sparking eureka-type moments, i.e., Why the heck am I still working here? I could be running my own company! Virgo rules work and health so these are the areas in which we can expect to see change. Assume that any seeds sewn now will take root, so be mindful of what you choose to plant. Put feelers out for new job opportunities and/or a chance to advance in your current position. Looking for the right time to kick bad habits and start that fitness regime? This is it! It's almost impossible to remain in an unhealthy rut when the Virgo Eclipse offers such strong inspiration to turn over a new leaf. I say "almost" because some of us (I'm not naming names) would prefer to smoke that new leaf than turn it over!

Week of 8.31.15

KAT'S WEEKLY OVERVIEW FOR AUGUST 31

Amidst the Mists
on’t believe everything you see or hear right now! Nothing is as it seems when the Sun plays hide-and-seek with foggy and illusive Neptune.  If you feel like you’re not getting the straight scoop on that deal/project/relationship, you’re probably right. There’s more there than meets the eye. But while Neptune keeps things murky and mysterious externally, internally it does sharpen our intuition. Inner vision is 20/20 now. Use it!

Love Me Knots?
Lusty Mars reconnects with amorous Venus on Tuesday for their second of three trysts this year. This is a crazy passionate and romantic energy and, just possibly, part two of a story that began around February 20 when these two last hooked up. (The next and last rendezvous will be November 2.) Look back to February for an inkling of what and/or whom, you might expect to encounter now.  Will you rekindle an old flame or flame out with that summer fling? With passions at a fevered pitch, exacerbated by the turbulent mood swings and all-round confusion caused by Sun/Neptune, most of us will have our hearts on our sleeves and heads in the clouds. This is not the time to start picking out the china. You’re in no position to discern whether you’ve met your soul mate or your cell mate. Fortunately, Venus is still Retrograde until this Sunday, so you don’t have to make any major decisions about your love life. Yet.

Wednesday's calm and steady Taurus Moon comes as a welcome relief. The fact that it is also making nice with Jupiter, Neptune and the Sun makes this the best day all week for taking care of business. If you have to have a difficult conversation or tackle a tough project, the wind will be at your back.

Friday Flurries
Feel the buzz on Friday with the Moon in multitasking Gemini causing a great flurry of activity. This surge of energy combines with a keen sense of urgency as we start to feel pressured (panicked?) to accomplish as much as we can before Mercury goes Retrograde later this month. You can get a lot done, if you don’t get frazzled. Speaking of Mercury Retrograde, sign up here for your free MercAlert!, if you haven't already. (You're signed up if you've been receiving my weekly email.)

WEEKEND FORECAST
It’s the start of the holiday weekend and the unofficial end of summer. So it’s perfect that the Moon continues in Gemini on Saturday, which is great for having get-togethers with friends. There's a Void Moon from 7:04p Saturday through 1:40p Sunday, so do have a plan B in place for dinner and brunch. Go with the flow, and you may find things turn out even better than what you planned in the first place!

Week of 8.24.15

KAT'S WEEKLY OVERVIEW FOR AUGUST 24

Mondays tend to be tedious, but more so when the Moon is in Sagittarius. Who wants to put the harness back on and wear a serious expression in the middle of the summer when the Moon is in this jolly, party-hearty sign? That said, I’m feeling very positive about the week ahead. Maybe I’m just anticipating the exuberant vibes from the Sun/Jupiter meet-up on Wednesday, but I think this could be one of the better weeks we’ve had in a while.

Go Big or Go Home!
When extravagant Jupiter teams up with the glorious Sun, it’s time to dream big! If not now, when?   The optimism and enthusiasm generated by this dynamic duo is contagious, inspiring us to believe in ourselves and take that brilliant idea to the next level.

The Moon will be in serious, workaholic Capricorn (Tuesday and Wednesday), but the buoyant energy created by Sun/Jupiter is going to grease those wheels of industry.  Don’t be shy about stepping up and taking charge. Expect the Capricorn Moon to stimulate your inner CEO and the Sun/Jupiter union to provide you with a chance to show off your leadership, promote your agenda and expand your influence.

Words of Love?
Garrulous Mercury moves into sweet-talking Libra on Thursday, bringing out the silver-tongued devils in us all.  Some, to their own amazement, may find they’re suddenly able to articulate long-held amorous feelings to a loved one who may have been waiting a very. long. time. to hear them.  Others may find the finesse needed to move a stalled project or negotiation forward. Remember, Libra is the sign of diplomacy and compromise so that old adage holds especially true now: you can catch more flies with honey.

WEEKEND FORECAST
Dreamy and Boozy. Mix Saturday’s Full Moon (always a time of excitability and extremes) with romantic but dipsomaniacal Pisces, muddle it with quixotic, nebulous Neptune and you have the perfect cosmic cocktail for a lost weekend. Too many margaritas at dinner may mean missing out on more intoxicating possibilities later. Moderation is key if you want to avoid doing a face plant in the guacamole. Ideally, you’re looking to be to be stirred during this Full Moon, not shaken.

Week of 8.17.15

KAT'S WEEKLY OVERVIEW FOR AUGUST 17, 2015

The week following a New Moon gives the green light for launching new projects, goals and partnerships. So how perfect is it that this week just happens to start off with an industrious Virgo Moon waxing in strength and teaming up with efficiency expert Saturn? It’s Virgo perfect, that’s what. Sure that Virgo energy only lasts till 1:16p on Monday, but you won’t believe how much you can get done during that time if you put your mind to it. We have a short Void period from 1:16p to 4:22 then the Moon moves into creative and collaborative Libra for all of Tuesday and Wednesday.
There’s a thorny aspect Tuesday between the Moon and calculating Pluto. This could manifest as a certain someone with a secret agenda trying to manipulate a certain situation. You get a strong gut feeling that this is happening but the perpetrator, exuding all the sweetness and charm of the Libra Moon, denies it while smiling to your face. Trust your gut!
Wednesday’s Libra Moon takes a more romantic turn, with foxy Venus and wild and crazy Uranus hooking up. Expect something completely out of the blue. Friends could become lovers (or vice versa); an "ex" could un-"ex" and cold fish could startle their partners by transforming into passion fish. In short, anything could happen which is why we call this aspect unpredictable. I know you want answers—so do I—but given these planetary high jinks, that’s the best I can do. Besides, whatta ya think I am, a fortune teller?

Bad Mood Rising?
Not only is the Moon in dark and brooding Scorpio on Friday, but the Sun is squaring off with Spartan Saturn. Which side of this fight will you be on? In the one corner, we have our personal needs; in the other, our duties and responsibilities. Under this aspect, we often feel resentful at having to put our own desires on hold, while we take care of our obligations. To make matters worse, we are in no mood to be told what to do, by anyone! Best to steer clear of your boss and/or the powers that be, as authority issues will run rampant. Err on the side of caution and restraint in all your dealings. If you don’t think you can manage to stay out of the way, just call in sick and stay home.

WEEKEND FORECAST
That rough energy from Friday may linger like a nasty hangover through early Saturday. But the mood brightens big time once the Moon swings into rollicking Sagittarius (at 4:41p) where it will remain for the rest of the weekend. What are you waiting for? Let’s get this party started! The Sun moves into Virgo on Sunday bringing a whole new mindset. I’ll have plenty more to tell you about that in next week’s overview.

Week of 8.10.15

KAT'S WEEKLY OVERVIEW FOR AUGUST 10

We’re in a last-quarter-Moon phase this week, meaning that the Moon is waning in strength. Most action takes place behind the scenes, making this a good time to review your progress and revise accordingly. To use a gardening analogy, when the Moon is waxing (from New to Full) we plant; when it’s waning (Full to New), we prune and trim.

The Moon in Cancer leads the week. As Cancer is the sign of our basic instincts, logic and rationale go on the back burner and intuition rules. When making decisions or facing problems under this Moon sign, go with your gut!

Monday looks like such a nice day it would be a shame to waste it by going to work—unless it rains. I once had a boss who only showed up when it rained. Nice work if you can get it.  The rest of us, not fortunate enough to be able to take the day off, can make the most of the Moon in a favorable aspect to communicative Mercury to have productive conversations about a pet project. Also, if you’ve been putting off, or having a hard time, writing a report/proposal this brainy aspect will lend inspiration.

Jupiter in Virgo
At 7:13a, Tuesday morning, auspicious Jupiter moves into Virgo where he’ll reside until September 2016! That means, this magnificent, magnanimous orb will be expanding whatever area of your life it touches — great if it’s your bank account, bad if it’s your hips. Where will you find good fortune? Watch for my sign-by-sign forecast, Where’s Your Lucky Star?, which will be on the AstroCast later this week, to find out what area of your life Jupiter will be endowing with its cheery optimism and good fortune.

Void to Avoid
The only Void Moon to avoid this week is midday Wednesday (1:44p–4:51p), but it’s easily sidestepped and, as long as you don't plan anything on it or for it, shouldn’t get in the way of whatever projects or events you have planned.

Let the Sunshine In!
The Moon enters bright and sunny Leo from Wednesday (4:52p) through Saturday (12:35a) culminating in a New Moon on Friday. The Leo New Moon radiates warmth, generosity and brilliance. It’s a stellar opportunity to grandstand, put your best face forward and add a touch of creative genius to all your endeavors.

WEEKEND FORECAST
We get two Virgo-perfect days this weekend. And with the Sun and Venus getting cozy, romance rules.  But a word to the wise: Virgo energy, which loves to fiddle, fix and tinker, could inveigle you into doing your “to-do’s.” Before you know it, you’ll have frittered the whole weekend away doing a whole lot of nothing.  My advice is to plan your fun ahead of time: make reservations for brunch, schedule a tee time, plan a bbq. It is the weekend after all, if not now, when?

Week of 8.3.15

KAT'S WEEKLY OVERVIEW FOR AUGUST 3, 2015

We steal into the week on little cat feet with the Moon in foggy Pisces most of Monday. Usually Pisces imbues us with a dreamy (some might say, out-to-lunch) quality. And while creativity soars under a Pisces Moon, we don’t often find the drive, focus or follow through needed to manifest the vision. But with the Moon making very favorable aspects to both go-getter Mars and structured Saturn, those dreams might prove more fruitful than first imagined.

We can charge ahead and take care of business Tuesday and Wednesday, when the Moon will be in spirited Aries. But the big news on Tuesday is that it’s the second of what will be three trysts between Venus the goddess of love and Jupiter the god of extravagance.

This pairing is all about abundance, indulgence and feeling the LOVE. Even those who’ve put romance on the back burner may be inspired to take a chance on l’amour. But take heed: when Venus is left to her own devices, she always tries to strike a delicate balance. However, when she's rubbing, um, shoulders, with Jupiter, the king of debauchery, we can expect nothing short of Caligula-esque excess. So I advise taking precautions when it comes to l’amour, or you may find yourself "expecting" more than you bargained for—this duo is notoriously fertile. Of course, this prolific pair could also play midwife to an artistic venture. Inspiration strikes from past pursuits, so dust off that novel/memoir/script or revive that ingenious idea you had for a blog and go for it!

Venus/Jupiter Take 2
The first rendezvous between these two beneficent orbs was back on July 1. If you met someone new back then, with Venus retracing her steps now, you may be ready to take a second look—for better or worse. Just remember that the focus of this second assignation between Venus and Jupiter will have more to do with reevaluating a current situation than starting anything new.

Whiplash Wednesday
What a buzzkill! If that Venus/Jupiter hook-up Tuesday had you feeling intoxicated, Wednesday’s harsh aspect between Venus and Saturn will sober you right up. When Venus encounters spoilsport Saturn, we’re forced to take a cold, hard look at a warm, fuzzy subject—love. And while it’s never fun, the insights we pick up could help improve relationships with all of our nearest and dearest.

Thankfully, the Moon is in mellow-yellow Taurus both Thursday and Friday allowing some normalcy to prevail and giving us plenty of time to ponder any turmoil caused by vacillating Venus.

WEEKEND FORECAST
Double your pleasure with two, count ’em, two full days of fun-loving, party-happy Gemini. This is a great time for gathering with friends and/or family.  One word of caution, if I may. The Moon will be squaring off with intemperate Neptune all day Saturday, so try not to overdo the libations in the afternoon, or you may wind up passed out on the patio Saturday night. I wouldn't want you to miss out on any fun!

Week of 7.27.15

KAT'S OVERVIEW FOR JULY 27, 2015

It’s déjà vu, all over again. Again.
As the week begins, there are five planets retrograde! Yes, you read that right. Pluto, Neptune and Saturn have all been on retreat for a while, but last weekend, Venus and Uranus joined the retro parade. In terms of everyday life, the one we’ll most notice is Venus. She turned tail on the 25th and will be regressing in Virgo almost the entire work (until Friday 11:27am), before she slips back into Leo.
Venus is the planet of courtesy, teamwork and sharing, but when she’s “out to lunch,” so too are these qualities in us. Think of Venus, with her discretion, diplomacy and willingness to see the other side, as greasing the wheels of life in an effort to make things run smoothly. What will we do with these attributes in short supply the next six weeks? The lack of tact will be keenly felt this first week, as Venus travels through nitpicky, overly critical Virgo. The key word for the week is: Cranky. We’ll all have to work extra hard at being gracious and tolerant. Just be grateful Venus will only be retro in Virgo til Friday 11:27a.
The good news is we get to ease into this prickly week because the Moon will be in happy-go-lucky Sagittarius on Monday. Turn on your cruise control, only take on routine tasks and you’ll coast through the day.
The first speed bumps will be noticeable Tuesday, during the Void Moon (9:37a-2:47p). Don’t be surprised when a normally affable status meeting or client call is nearly derailed by disagreements over minor details. Once the Moon arrives in stable Capricorn, you can press ahead and attempt to sort out any disagreeable issues.

Wednesday’s Child is Full of Woe
What’s with Wednesday’s lately? There’s been a challenging transit involving deep, dark Pluto every Wednesday for the past few weeks. And this week is no exception. While the Moon will be in hard-working Capricorn all day, the influence exerted by shadowy Pluto may exacerbate tensions and, dare I say, suspicions among collaborators. This nasty influence will begin to diminish after 2:23p. So until then, keep your antenna high and your profile low, if you want to stay out of trouble.
With the possible exception of a brief afternoon Void (2:50p to5:40p), Thursday should be productive. Make the most of that workaholic Capricorn energy before the Void, and you’ll be free to enjoy the friendlier skies of the Aquarius Moon Thursday evening. Gather your posse, go out and blow off some steam. You’ve earned it!

Blue Moon
If you maintain that you’re only inclined to take a walk on the wild side or the road less traveled every once in a blue moon, start lacin’ up your Asics! There’s a Blue Moon (a rarely occurring second Full Moon in a month) in rebel-rousin’ Aquarius this very Friday. Now what’s your excuse? It’s time to upset your own static-quo and ask yourself why you’ve been accepting an edited version of your own magnificence. This Aquarius Full Moon is the counterpart to the two Aquarius New Moons (January 20 and February 18) that occurred earlier this year. Dreams you dreamed back then may start to come to fruition now!

THE WEEKEND FORECAST
Here’s where the Venus Retrograde starts to get ticklish, or interesting, depending on your tolerance for drama. With the Moon in dreamy, romantic, boozy Pisces Saturday night and Sunday, your defense mechanisms will be low and your judgment questionable. What will you do when you run into your ex while out on a date with your current amour? Or, worse, vice versa? Oh to be a fly on that wall!

Week of 7.20.15

KAT'S WEEKLY OVERVIEW FOR JULY 20, 2015

The time following a New Moon is generally one of the best for launching new projects, goals and partnerships. And with the Moon waxing in strength, the combo of Monday's industrious Virgo Moon followed by Tuesday's collaborative Libra Moon (after 9:23a)and the Sun teaming up with efficiency expert Saturn, lending extra focus and follow through, you’ve got the wind at your back!

This productive energy carries through on Wednesday. Just watch out for a tricky aspect in effect until 1:36p. That’s when the Moon and a manipulative Pluto will be squaring off. This could manifest as jealousy or resentment from someone on the team who feels the need to assert their power and/or maneuver to usurp yours.  The good news is that on the heels of that aspect, we get a jolt of clarity and sanity, when a quick-witted Mercury teams up with realistic Saturn. This energy should help get things back on track.

There;s a Void Moon Thursday afternoon (from 2:12p thru 10:06p), so try to get in and/or schedule any important meeting, decisions, or calls before then.

If you've been looking for a time to make time with that special someone, Friday night’s your night! That’s when a smoldering Scorpio Moon starts slow dancing her way toward a sultry Pluto and...  well, I’ll let you take it from here.

WEEKEND FORECAST
It’s the first weekend under the fun-loving Leo Sun, and I don’t mean to be a spoilsport, but if someone asks you to take a ride on their dirt bike or go parasailing, Just Say No! Yes, I’m an overly cautious Capricorn, but the combination of a restless, impulsive Mars agitating a volatile, unstable Uranus can be sure-fire formula for accidents. This is not the time to be taking risks. Also that short-fused Mars is still in over-sensitive Cancer, so everyone’s going to be more touchy than usual. Not in that nice touchy-feely way, but in a snarling, “What did you mean by that?” way.  Tempers can flare and escalate.  It will be hard to avoid hurt feelings, especially among family and intimates.

So my advice for the weekend is to stick with the lazy Leo side of things. Lie low, in a hammock or lounge chair, or find a good log (like this gal did), and take some nice long catnaps.

Week of 7.13.15

KAT'S WEEKLY OVERVIEW FOR JULY 13, 2015

Just Another Manic Monday
The week begins in a great bustle of hyperactivity with the Moon in bubbly, multitasking Gemini. If you don’t allow yourself to get frazzled, you could accomplish a great deal.

Tuesday is another productive day, work wise. But a strained aspect between pleasure-seeking Venus and Spartan Saturn threatens to spoil the party. If that Venus/Jupiter hook-up 2 weeks ago was all sunshine, lollipops and rainbows, Venus/Saturn is more like a lump of coal in your stocking. Under this killjoy aspect, we often get stuck doing all the things we have to, not the things we want to, like having to cancel your lunch/day off because they can’t spare you at work. But we also get to take a cold, hard look at what is ofte  n a warm, fuzzy subject, relationships. And while it may not be fun, the insights we glean could help improve communications with all of our loved ones.

Watch out for Wednesday!
I’m not saying you should stay home and hide under the covers . . .  but an incendiary Pluto is stoking both an antagonistic Mars and a quarrelsome Mercury. This is a combustible combo at any time, but with the Moon, Mars and Mercury all in the overly sensitive, thin-skinned sign of Cancer, we could find ourselves caught up in any number of emotional meltdowns and upheavals. On second thought, maybe you shouldn’t get out of bed until Wednesday night. That’s when the New Moon in homey Cancer offers a fresh perspective, or at least a chance to hold hands and sing Kumbaya with your nearest and dearest. Just kidding … sort of.

Thursday should bring some welcome relief once the Moon enters playful, fun-loving Leo at 10:15 a.m.  And with the Moon teaming up with diligent Saturn, this can be a super-productive day. In fact, you can get so much done that you could take off, or at least slacker off, all of Friday!

WEEKEND FORECAST
Life’s a beach with the Moon in Leo on Saturday. Go forth and bask. But a word to the wise: Watch your words. With a quirky aspect between garrulous Mercury and unpredictable Uranus, you could blurt out something you’ll have a very hard time taking back. Think before you speak and avoid a tendency to  “over-share.” Also, be flexible, as this mischievous aspect could play games with your plans. With Sunday’s Moon in industrious Virgo, you may be overcome with an urge to tackle all the to-do’s you’ve been putting off. Fine, if it’s a rainy day. But if not, remember it is the middle of July and stop being so anal! You could always alphabetize your inbox or organize your shoes by color in November. Or never. Here’s a tip: Plan Sunday’s fun ahead of time. Like, right now. Go on. Virgo loves to follow a schedule. This will ensure your day will be Virgo perfect, down to the teensiest, little detail!
